Ford India has come up with a new ‘Sports’ model of the Figo hatchback. The latest variant in the Figo range has gone on sale with the ‘Figo S’ moniker. It has a starting price of Rs 6.31 Lakh (ex-showroom). Surprisingly, in spite of having some sporty aspirations, this model isn’t available with a 1.5 TiVCT + DCT combo. Instead it offers 1.2 Petrol and a 1.5 Diesel engine options with a Manual Transmission. The new 2017 Ford Figo S is based on the Titanium trim and offers a set of visual enhancements that work well to boost the attractiveness of the car.

The 2017 Ford Figo S is available with a 1.2 Petrol and a 1.5 Diesel engine option. While the Petrol model costs Rs 6.31 lakh, the Diesel engine model has a sticker price of Rs 7.21 Lakh.

There isn’t any difference in the specifications of the regular Figo and the new S models. We are sad that the 1.5 TiVCT with excellent Dual Clutch Autmatic transmission isn’t on offer, but we are pretty sure the 1.5 Diesel, which is quite a stonker of an oil burner, will validate the sporty aspirations of the new 2017 Figo S. It’s pretty likely that the car has also got a tweaked suspension for sportier road handling.
