Me Land Rover, you Elephant.

Finding sales data for any nation in Africa apart from South Africa has its challenges. Botswana is one of the few that do make statistics available but as it comes from a government department, it is slower. Car sales is just one small piece of many areas they deal in so it is to be expected. As one of the better run countries in Africa, car sales are quite positive.

Toyota has about half the market and seems to achieve that with uncanny consistency. Other brands fight over the crumbs. In 2012, over a thousand sales were hidden in 'others' but in 2013 that figure at least came down. I wonder if it included many Chinese brands as none are listed here.
