VW LCV Production : 2013

The Transporter/Caravelle.

VW also make light commercial vehicles as well as trucks. I won't go as far as HCVs, but LCVs are part of many people's lives. Some even are used as private transport. So what was 2013 like for production of such vehicles?

The Caddy.

The Transporter is a multi purpose medium sized van that includes the Caravelle MPV. It amounts to just over a third of VW LCV production.

The small Caddy is sold with seats (kombi) and as a working van. Between them they account for 29% of all LCVs.

The Saveiro.

The Saveiro is a small pick-up truck based on the Gol and made in South America. Its been around since 1983.

The medium sized pick-up Amarok is manufactured in Argentina and is a relative newcomer to the range, since only 2010.
