I remember talking to a Greek Cypriot several years ago, who spoke with sadness about what happened to the island of Cyprus. He said people of both Turkish and Greek ancestry got on well and things were good, but then it got stirred up by a few with political ideologies. That led to hostilities and then the partitioning of the island nation. How sad that a few can lead many down a path they don't want to go.
Today the car market is better than what it was a decade ago, but down on the boom years in between. VW was top until the year 2000 (from '1998 at least), Peugeot from '01 to '04, Honda '05 and Ford '06 and '07. Nissan then took the lead in 2008, and has not relinquished it since.
