The XF is the best car in its class. It is beautiful, refined and handling is superb. Even in this class, most of its competitors are sterile offerings. Not this cat. The downside to it is it arrived with too many alternatives missing. A small diesel has taken ages to arrive. The shooting brake model is still to come, and no 4wd option is available. For these reasons, and the fact that Jaguar isn't in some race to sell more cars at the risk of hurting residual prices and falling into a loss making scenario, sales are not huge. Still, that brings a certain exclusivity, and hopefully in the full length of time, a full range of model variants.
