The Discovery, or LR4, is a vehicle of contrast. It is rugged, yet refined; butch, but smooth. It gives you the best of both worlds and for that reason the best selling LR in markets such as Australia and South Africa.

I think it a fine looking vehicle, perhaps my favourite with the LR stable or any SUV on the market. It's only downside is its weight, which will come down with the next model. Overall a strong, refined vehicle.
Please note that in some countries, a sizable number of LR sales are counted as commercial vehicle sales. When I find out what those commercial sales are by model, I add them to the above figures. In some markets I cannot ascertain what they include. In many cases, they would be Defender sales, but not always.
China sales could be slightly different.
