The Renualt Kadjar, related to the Nissan Qashqai |
Cars are popular in this small country. Registrations narrowly passed the 500,000 in 2015, the best in four years. That is still well short of the 2011 record of 572,000 but moving up as the trend is in Europe.
Renault finished the year strongly to take back its number one spot it lost to VW in 2011. BMW finished at its highest ever ranking in Belgium with a sound 16% increase. Citroën lost over 4,000 sales from 2014 and although 1,000 could be accounted for by separating of the DS marque, it still wasn't a good year and cost it four places.
