The Macan is the best selling Porsche |
A 14.5% increase is a good result, achieved because of the new Macan, which is now the best selling model. SUVs' are an essential part of every brands arsenal, such is their growing popularity and healthy profit margins.
Porsche were like a one trick pony with just sports cars, but with SUVs taking most of the sales now and with the Panamera car, Porsche has never had it so good. SUVs account for over 70% of Porsche sales and if you add the Panamera to that, sports cars make up less than a quarter of all production. Despite premium sales expected to level off in 2016, there still seems some growth in Porsche for this year.
