The Partner/Berlingo (Peugeot shown). |
Light commercial vehicles are an interesting area of vehicle making. Some are purchased for private use, though fashion and modern style are secondary to practicality. Often manufacturers share them to save on cost, and because of that they are reasonably profitable. Both Peugeot and Citroën do the same model under their own name.
PSA's biggest selling LCV model is the Partner/Berlingo duo. The Boxer/Jumper are a joint effort with Fiat which also now comes as a Ram version too for North America. The Expert/Jumpy (Despatch in some markets) are also sold by Fiat (Scudo) and now Toyota (ProAce). Finally the Bipper/Nemo are again a joint venture with Fiat (Fiorino/Qubo).

The two brands with each model mirror the other surprisingly closely in sales, with Peugeot slightly larger on all occasions. Units sold were down for both brands, but not as much as 2012.
