This was the best year for sales since the year 2000, although still well short of the high of 640,000 in 1999. Škoda remained top, a place it has held since it took over from Fiat in 2009. However, it didn't have that good a year, with a tiny gain in a solid year. Generally things didn't change drastically, perhaps PSA had it as bad as anyone with all three brands shrinking.
