Renault in Iran stopped trading there due to international embargo

The Renault / Dacia presence in the Middle East for cars/LCVs is broad but not that deep. Iran has been the main market but it is now suffering there due to political issues. Israel is going the right way and Saudi Arabia is increasing very well. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are both part of the UAE, but listed separate here. Syria's conflict has finished sales there, while Palestine is now listed.

The figures in the the chart to the right are in hundreds. So 36.3 equals 36,300. The left side numbers are sales ranking in the region. Gaps show sales from 49 to zero.

In summary, growth in many areas offset by political situations hurting in some places. Nice to see Renault allowing the public a glimpse of what car sales are for them in this region usually shrouded in mystery.
