The VW Gol is the best seller in Argentina

Some of the names here sound unusual to people in western nations. It seems many are older model that are retained to sell at a lower price point. I wonder why this doesn't happen in more markets, even more affluent ones. Not everyone wants to pay top price for the latest. I guess there are not enough people that would buy them to warrant it. Either that or they know the people will pay if they have to.

The colours show how popular Euro models are and not so Japanese. I assume people in Argentina want a car that handles well and Japanese cars lag behind in that.
