The Chevrolet Classic - made in Argentina |
It is refreshing to see open car figures available to the public, accessable very quickly too. Others could learn from this.
Argentina production was up 3.5%, cars 1.8% and utility vehicles 6.5%. European brands (pale blue) are the main contributors to the total, but US brands also. Argentina has been making vehicles for many decades, with a peak of over 825,000 made in 2011. 2013 looks to be the second highest of all time. It is third in Latin America behind Brazil and Mexico.
