The Renegade. Bold styling. |
The last time vehicle production went up in Italy was in 2009 (a 6% increase) but in 2013 it was a -2% drop. A corner has been turned it and will start climbing again. Fiat has been going through period of change, which will now show some improvement.
The new Jeep Renegade (see pics) will be built in Italy, along with the Fiat 500X which will be a crossover version of the 500. The expectation is by 2016, 200,000 units will be sold, 120k for Jeep and 80k as Fiats. Most of those will be built in Italy, with some in Brazil and after that China.
