The Opel Astra: sales 1,407, increase 42%, rank 4th |
The car market here is depressed, but at least it is up on 2013. Car importers will be hoping the poor market conditions will brighten for them. VW has been top for four years now and well ahead of GM Opel who was top for some years before that. Sister brand Chevrolet was a strong seller here, offering value products. Meanwhile another budget brand Škoda had a very good year and has moved up six places in two years. It has probably benefited greatly by Chevrolet's demise.
