Austria had its second year of growth in car sales, for 2016 a healthy 6.8%. It was one of the best years ever!
VW was largely unscathed by the issues it has faced recently with a tiny loss of market share, 0.1% if you must know. That was less than the two nearest brands, Opel and Škoda. Audi was immune to any negativity it seems with a 15% improvement.
Jaguar and Infiniti had huge gains, due to new new models that have been added to each range. Maserati and Bentley too did well, but not to the same degree.
