A series of increases in registrations now has sales here close to record numbers. Certainly the 23,000 cars finding homes in 2016 is along way from the dark days of 2010 when just 8,000 cars sold. Totoyta became the best selling brand in 2004 and has been top dog ever since, except for one slip up in 2011. Škoda has been shadowing the Big T but has been unable to break the stranglehold. Nissan and Hyundai had very poor sales performances, while Jaguar / Land Rover did exceptionally well.
In the chart below, pale yellow represents a reduction in registrations, pale blue is increase but lost market share. Green is for those exceeding the market growth and finally the salmon colour for those with over 100% increase.
