Registrations were at an all time high here, narrowly eclipsing the 2005 record. Toyota has been top for so long now, that will not change anytime soon. Number two spot did change, with VW relinquishing the ranking it has held for five years to Kia. Suzuki was second back in 2010, but in 2016 found itself tenth.
In the chart below, pale yellow represents a reduction in registrations, pale blue is increase but lost market share. Green is for those exceeding the market growth and finally the salmon colour for those with over 100% increase.
