The Danish car market has had five years of increase and is about as
high as it has ever been. I have included light commercial vehicles too
as in the case of Denmark, a vehicle can be either car or LCV depending
on how it is registered.
Vehicles with low carbon output are encouraged here with some cities becoming low emision zones. Public transport and especially push bikes are encouraged. Once it was found that wearing helmets put off (especially) women from cycling to work, they became optional. Cars are expensive to buy too. Still, the desire for private transportation is strong as shown by increasing car sales.
VW is well ahead, but did lose some ground. Peugeot had a strong year,
as did Nissan. Dacia returned and is making it's mark, while Mitsubishi
and Tesla had a spike in sales.

The bicycle is encouraged in Denmark. Notice no helmets |
