As for breakdown by where MINI is now produced, it is made in three countries presently. The Netherlands was added to help with the new MINI Hatch and then later take over the Countryman production from Austria, which will make a BMW brand product instead. Steyr in Austria took on making the Countryman in 2010 as you can see below. The UK has gone from 90% of all MINI cars made in 2010 to 55% in 2014. The UK should increase that percentage in 2015 with the new model(s).
The difference in the total figure above and the one below for 2014 is because the top one is sales and the lower production.
