With a -2% for the year, Argentina was a stable market place for car sellers. A few brands dominate, depending where they are made. It seems the government has installed strict import restrictions to help local car makers and both Nissan and Suzuki fell away badly as a result. Can anyone shed light on that? Suzuki isn't on the chart as sales fell from 2,700 to 20, falling below the threshold for this list. Renault did well with its Dacia models sold under its name, Toyota is on the up, while both MINI and Land Rover topped the increase by percentage.
The fist two columns below are 2011 and 2012 ranking, the second from right is increase/decrease and the last is market share for the top brands.
