The vehicle market contracted 11.9% in 2013, after a monstrous 90% increase in 2012. So while the decrease looks bad, in that context it was to be expected. Nevertheless, the drop in sales meant that yellow was always going to be a popular shading. Even the pale blue showing improved market share but less sales is common.

Both Jaguar and Land Rover dropped off the list this year, and MINI is now part of BMW figures, slightly inflating that marques increase. Porsche is nowhere to be seen either. It's a pity those brands think their sales data is so sensitive. Let's face it though, the competition will know what they are selling, so why not let the public know too?
