The Citroen C3 was the 3rd best seller in France...

The French car market was down 5.7%, but the signs are there that the worst is over. Sales are not that far below their peak anyway of 2.27 million in 2009. However, any improvement will be gradual.

AS expected, the three French marques were 1,2 3 with a combined share of 48.4%. Add French owned Dacia and over half the market is secured. Not many brands grew in sales, green indicating which ones. US makes Ford, Opel and Chevrolet had a very poor year. None of the VW Group managed to improve on 2012. Maybe next year will shine brighter.
