Russia is currently in an economic wilderness |
Only four of the fifteen nations listed here experienced a drop in sales for 2015, but it was enough for the region to fall nearly 24%. Russia lost 890,000 registrations, the region in total 830,000. Two years ago Russia had 73% of the sales, but that has quickly diminished to 60% in 2015. Russia's problem came from the Ukraine, which has been having an even worse time of it.
The Czech Republic had the largest increase, but many got into double digit growth. So the machinations around Russia haven't impacted on the other nations that once came under the influence of the Soviet Union.
