Škoda leads the way in Serbia |
Another sizable increase in Europe after a depressed period. Less than ten years ago sales were peaking around the 55,000+, but a sign of improving confidence. Škoda has strengthened its position at the top, while Fiat managed to pass VW. Fas is a local brand once known as Zastava now fully owned by Fiat, making the 500L model. Combining Fiat and Fas would just about equal Škoda in sales.
I'm not sure what happened to Hyundai as it crashed from 4th to 12th, but it wasn't good. Honda did its usual drop in sales, a hallmark of its European operation. The Renegade lifted Jeep from obscurity and up to 20th place. This is one of a couple of markets in Europe where Jaguar doesn't sell its cars.
