Sales were up 19% for June and 2.7% YTD. Understandably, local brand Dacia is the main selling make with just over a quarter of all passenger car sales. The negative point was that they had a third of sales in 2015, causing its share of the market to drop 20%.
Most car importers have had a good spell so far this year, with many exceeding 20% market share growth. Renault, Mercedes and BMW were high volume brands that did well.
