Car and light commercial sales were up 11.5% in June and 17.6% YTD. Renault has been the top brand since 1998 and has improved that position so far in 2016. Citroën and Opel passed BMW while Fiat climbed two places but overall most of the top brands lost market share. Kia, Mazda, Hyundai and Honda all did well for the Asian brands, and Jaguar enjoys the smaller XE and now F-Pace.
