BMW was the second best selling brand |
2015 was an average sort of year for sales in total but still up 7.2%. The top 11 brands were all up, although 4 of them lost some of their market share. Three premium marques are from 2nd to 4th with Mercedes jumping Audi into 3rd. Renault is enjoying a revival with a 26% hike in sales and rewarded with two places up the ranking. Mazda did even better with +32% and five places higher.
Lower down the list, Porsche, smart, Tesla and Jaguar all made good on their sales, while many marques near the bottom had poor years as seen by the yellow and the minus signs in the right hand column.
