In this small, wealthy alpine nation German brands are the preferred choice. It is so small that car sales totalled just 1,800 in 2014, down 6% on 2013. On the one hand you could wonder why be interested in them, yet since the national statistics website goes to the trouble of publishing the data, then I am happy to pass it on.
Things of note: BMW pipped Audi to 2nd place with a big swing in its favour. SEAT leaping up the list now be 6th is quite a move and has gone from a small player to..er...a small player, but relatively speaking big in Liechtenstein. Opel and Ford both had a poor year though.
