Long time leader Lada was finally knocked off its perch in 2012. It had over 50% of the market back in 2001, but it is hard for it to compete against so many brands that have entered the market since. I have no record of Hyundai selling any cars back then and sold only 483 in 2002! Kia it seems is impatient to make it a Korean 1,2. Further down is Bogdan, a company that makes trucks and buses, but also older Lada and Hyundai models I believe. The two dashes left of Bogdan are because I don't have sales data for those years.

The first three columns show 2010 to 2012 ranking, the second column in from the right is increase or decrease, and the extreme right shows market share for the major brands.
