Fiat used to have the 600 and 600 Multipla models, bigger versions of the tiny 500. It has revealed a new 600 (or Multipla?) at the Geneva show, called the 500L. L stands for large. I don't know why they are using the 500 designation if they are drawing on historical models for the current range.

It looks the part at the front end but seems contrived at the rear. It's not a looker, is it? Will it sell? I am thinking yes, as it is so much more practical than the 500(S). For that reason, there will be a big drop in the 500's sales when the L model hits the showrooms. However, I don't think brands such as MINI have anything to worry about.
